Birmingham native, David Wayne Perkins is a Rock and R & B guitarist, singer, songwriter and session musician. As a session musician at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios, Perkins backed several big-name musicians. He provided lead guitar overdubs on three tracks on Bob Marley and the Wailers 1973 album Catch a Fire and was hired by The Rolling Stones to play lead guitar on three tracks on their 1976 album Black and Blue.
